is a proactive, 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to bring our community together in order to help our homeless animals at the Rowan County Animal Shelter and the Rowan County community. works closely with the staff of the Rowan County Animal Shelter to identify and provide the animals needs. We have total control of where your donations to the animals end up. And your donation will a

lways go to the purpose you choose. Our Mission Statement:

The mission of Shelter Guardians is to provide volunteers and support for the homeless animals at the Rowan County Shelter, and in the community. Through our programs we facilitate shelter adoptions and assist in decreasing the number of animals returned and surrendered to the shelter. Our programs also educate children and youth about humane treatment of all companion animals, and the need for spay and neuter. Our purpose is to reduce the number of animals in need of a home, both at the shelter and in our community, by highlighting the contribution that companion animals can make to a person’s life when they are given a chance.

🇺🇸🇺🇸 We had a great  public access class at the new Tractor Supply in China Grove! All the teams are doing great and looking forward to graduation next week!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

 We’re so proud of these Veterans for the work they’ve put in to become a team with their dog. We have watched the dogs work their magic, to bring new life and hope for their veteran!

It is truly amazing to watch the dogs and Veterans save each other, and we are so grateful to be a small part of that🐾❤️🐾❤️
