Our sweet new Frenchie girl Mable is having surgery tomorrow for bladder stones. (Look at the size of those huge stones) 😭 She was originally being treated for a UTI which was not improving. Ultrasound and xrays showed these huge stone in her bladder. Her surgery estimate is between $1800-$2000. Please kept our girl and her foster mom in your prayers.

Surgery will be done at West Innes Animal Hospital if anyone would like to call and donate towards her Vet bill @704-754-4539

Welcome Mable to the FHL Family. She comes to us from a local Shelter. She is a 6-8 year old, Frenchie. She is sweet, loving, adores children and other dogs. She has been vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative. She is housebroken and crate trained. Mable will be available for adoption in the next few weeks due to a bladder issue that is being treated. **We have received an overwhelming response to Francie and not be sending out any more applications.

Welcome Francie to the FHL Family. She came to us as an Owner Surrender. She is an absolutely beautiful small 31 lb, Apricot Doodle. Francie has lived a very Shelterd life and was never exposed to most things othet dogs are exposed to. She is sweet and loving. However she has been terrified of new things especially grass and other dogs. She is coming around great. We have been working trying to desensitize her. She initially was scared and growling (there was absolutely nothing but fear behind the growls). She is just figuring out being a normal dog. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and was just recently spayed. She is housebroken to p*e pads and we are working on pottying in the grass which is going very well. She is now coming outsid3 on her own and not having to be leashed to go out. Her previous owners wrote an initial bio for her which is in the pictures. She will need a patient owner that will allow her to work through her fear of new places and things. She went to the Vet and was so happy to meet every single person there a s be petted. She even jumped up at the Receptionist Desk for pets. She does have some separation issues but they are not major. When you leave house out the main door she immediately starts howling. She is not destructive and will just chill on the couch or inside her crate. She is spending less and less time in or near her crate.

We would prefer a home without children to allow her to be in a quieter setting and get the one on one attention she deserves. If you are interested in Francie please send us your email address to obtain an Adoption Application.

Welcome Blueberry to the FHL Family. She came to us from a local Shelter with a foot injury. We have been treating her foot and it is almost completely healed up. She is a 1-2 year old, 11 lb, mix. She has had her 1st set of shots and will be getting her second soon. She is microchipped and will also be getting spayed this week. She is housebroken and crate trained. No inside accidents. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She does however bark nonstop when in a crate. She just wants to be her people. She is a lap dod, velcro girl. Welcome Miss Molly formerly Dolly to the FHL Family. She was at the Rowan County Animal Shelter with her 4 babies. Unfortunately all of her babies ended up passing away. They were found as strays in the rain and she had just given birth. She jas been with us out of Foster but will be available for adoption in the next few weeks. She currently has a uterus infection and is being treated. She will also need to be spayed in 30 days. She is a very small 63 lb, Great Dane Mix. She has had 1 round of shots and is microchipped. Welcome Freya to the FHL Family. She was owner surrendered to a local Shelter today her mom entering the hospital and unable to take care of her. She has been with us for a few weeks and is a TOTAL LOVE ❤️. She is is 2.5 - 3 year old, 7 lb, Chihuahua mix. Freya is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She gets along with all animals and most people. She is not fond of men right off. She is a total love bug, lap dog, velcro girl and is always happy and wagging her tail.
