Laura Pintane is the founder and owner of Laura's Dog Training and has trained over 700 dogs locally. Her 25+ years of professional dog training experience include working for Canine Companions for Independence, “a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dog and ongoing support to ensure quality partnership.”

As an advocat

e of positive reinforcement, Laura considers herself a “dog listener.” Her classes stress the importance of developing a trusting bond and emphasize problem solving and tools to teach behaviors. Laura keeps a scrapbook of graduates and encourages the owners of graduates to call after graduation if issues ever arise.
