Did you know that Ark-Valley Humane Society has a free Pet Food & Limited Supply Pantry?

This pantry is for community pet owners who need assistance with food or supplies for their animal companions.

You can stop by Ark-Valley Humane Society to access this pantry anytime during open hours Monday-Saturday from 12-5PM located at 701 Gregg Drive in Buena Vista, CO.

Want to help with this service?
- Spread the word to let people know that they can utilize the pet pantry if they need help.
- You can also donate food or supplies to this pantry. (All food types accepted as long as they are not expired. Dry food bags can be opened, but must be in its original container).

We understand that sometimes you just need a little help to get by with your pet. Ark-Valley Humane Society is here for you!

Next week I turn the big 6-2!
My goal for a birthday fundraiser is to acquire $620 for Helping Hand for Animals.
Donations not only go to our Foster and boarded animals but out long-term care animals as well as those who may not have adopted from us but they need help with basic vet care or food.
To date, $345 has been collected towards this fundraiser.
Only $275 to go until 9/25!

Do you know what you call a gathering of Golden Retrievers? It's called a HALO! 😇

Thus, the theme of this year's Gold Rush event will be a HALO of Goldens. 💛

GRRIN's annual golden retriever festival will be Sunday, September 21st from noon to 3 at SumTur Amphitheater in Papillion.

All of our ✌🏼two legged 🐕 friends and their four legged 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️ (leashed and well behaved) pals are invited to attend this free community event!

There will be fun games like the cake walk, plinko and the wet t-shirt dog race. Guess how many biscuits are in the jar and take home a lot of great treats for your dog courtesy of Woof n Whiskers!

Our community partners will be there to discuss pet care, pet supplies, dog training and many other services. By visiting our partners, you could be entered in for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Woof n Whiskers.

We are excited for Streetside Food Truck to be on-site with concessions available for purchase. Sit in our covered picnic area to relax with your pet and converse with friends and other dog owners.
