Lundberg Siberians We breed for low allergen levels and raise our kittens as part of the family, one litter at a time. Testing kittens is both difficult and expensive.

This is the social page for Lundberg Siberians -- a place to follow along as we raise our litters, and to share photos and mini-stories about the kittens who then became part of your family. Otherwise, we place our kittens with families on the reservation list, with a typical wa

it time of 6-12 months. We allergen-test most of our litters, and kittens are placed based on a combination of allergen level and a family's position on our reservation list. KittenTesting.com and UC Davis spent five years stabilizing the tests for use in kittens. About 15% of Siberians test in the lowest two allergen ranges. Even the lowest mating can still produce normal allergen kittens. Currently there are 8 catteries listed on the Testing website that are licensed to test allergen levels in kittens. Our prices for tested kittens are similar to theirs. When we receive an inquiry through our website for an area we don't ship to, as a courtesy we refer families to the closest other cattery that tests kittens. Two of us share page management: Chris raises litters in Portland. Sarah occasionally raises a litter, and does the final photography set for most litters. We reserve the right to block unpleasantness of any kind.

Good morning, Kitten Friends! We have two Lundberg Siberians cats to rehome as a pair. They were untested – possibly Mediums.

Zen and Taiga are 6 and 7 year old much-loved purebred Siberians. Their owner Brenda just went on hospice, and is anxious to find exactly the right family for them. She wants them to be adopted together.

At this time, she has asked me to wait for a home with no other pets.

Neither Zen nor Taiga was allergen tested. Brenda had mild cat allergies and didn’t react to them, but she doesn’t remember how bad her typical symptoms were, so there’s no way to be sure of Taiga and Zen’s allergen levels. Because Brenda’s health status will make it hard to have visitors come to test with them, preference will be given to families with no cat allergies. I’ll consider Medium families on a case-by-case basis.

Pick-up will be in Oregon City, 20 minutes from PDX.

Taiga is curious, always wanting to know what’s going on. When Brenda felt better, he enjoyed walks on a harness. He loves running water and spending time in the catio. Both cats like to sleep near Brenda, whether on a blanket next to her or on her bed.

Gorgeous Zen has a big personality. Taiga usually comes into the bedroom first, for example; Zen waits to be invited and then steps in like she’s stalking prey. She’s shy with strangers – less so with men than with women – but will come out to be with people she knows. Integration into a new household will take time and patience. She loves Taiga; that will help. Her favorite toy is a fishing pole.



The two cats love playing chase, and both claim ALL the catnip toys….

Brenda wants to keep them a little longer (unsure how her health will progress - the expectation is ‘very soon’ to four months), but wants to know they’re going, together, to a good home.

Lap cats! Tiberius and Tesseract are five weeks old. They're the same size in real life, but the color variance is showing correctly in this picture (other than phone-camera muting). Tiberius has a darker orange head and then not much orange on his body. Tesseract is orange throughout. And Tiberius has a raccoon tail.

I haven't decided on nicknames.... Tessa, for example, doesn't work because they're both boys. All I've come up with there is Tesser, and maybe Tibs or Tiber for Tiberius. What do you think? Any other ideas? And also, aren't they incredibly cute???
