Get one of my Catnip Sock toys for your family's favorite kitty now. The catnip was grown within a couple of miles of the Catawba Valley Farmers Market where I have them on Thursday afternoons through Oct. 17, and the annual Holiday Market the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Tybee can't wait for Catnip Sock toy for today's Catawba Valley Farmers Market to be finished. He wants his now!

Grandma's Pound Cake ! Come to the Salem Farmers Market this morning to buy my grandmother's Maggie's South Georgia Pound Cake, and think spring - at least for now. Homemade Coconut Cake with real butter frosting, too, in honor of my husband Bill's birthday. Half pound cake available, or by the slice. Honey man Russ of the Bee Hive Honey stand will be there, Judy Sparks with Sparks Family Farms with grassfed beef and chicken, Jim Washenburg with whole-wheat bread and my cookies and rolls.
