Just the happiest little chaos ladies 🫶🏻🌸🐾

Don't let the cute faces fool you, this shopping trip was indeed chaos between the heat, puddles, navigating Genesis around in the narrow aisles, and just how busy it was. But we were able to get some really nice wins with Maple and Genesis was able to show off how shopping with Mom is supposed to look!

Some super cute strawberry ice cubes for Miss Maple to help beat the heat 🥵🧊🍓

With our first taste of real summer weather please be careful with your dogs! We are keeping outdoor trips fairly short, keeping an eye on pavement temps, and staying hydrated!

Adding some ice cubes or frozen fruit to your dogs water can make for a very fun and cooling enrichment item for days like today! *Please note: ice water is not suggested for dogs overheating/with heat stroke. For heat stroke you want to keep your water room temperature as to not shock the system*

Maple's first soccer game ⚽️

Not only did we stop for food first but we also spent all night in the LOUDEST section in the stadium and little miss Maple did so amazing!

She got all the compliments and even got to meet some of the players after the game!

No extra audios just so you can hear just how much chaos Maple was unbothered by!

Also, in RI service dogs in training have the same access rights as fully trained service dogs. The same holds true for MA, which means our SDIT get to experience different training opportunity before they are fully trained as long as they meet the public access criteria! The staff at Centerville Bank Stadium was educated on these rules and were amazing at respecting Miss Maple and her job! 🖤

Dremel time for Miss Maple 🍁💅

We have been working on dremel desense since Maple came home, but we have recently has a back slide with her accepting it since coming into her adolescent teenage phase. This just means we take a step back and work some more on it!

Before this video we sat for a little just with the dremel on and her being rewarded, and after the video ended we were able to successfully get 3 out of 4 paws nails done without any fight! When we got to that last paw she pulled away multiple times when I tried to just grab her paw and was giving a very obvious "No I am all done" so we ended and she got the rest of her dinner!

Little girl is already big and just going to keep getting bigger so ensuring comfort and cooperation in all things handling is absolutely a priority for us!

(She does have a backtie to the couch, this is to stop her from bothering the other dogs. She has more than enough space to get up and move away from me if she wants to)

School vacation week meant all the play ground training! 🛝

I LOVE training on the playground for some excellent confidence building and fitness! 💪🏻

As always, before doing any training on a playground please ensure dogs are allowed and always defer to the children playing!

We were here for the fun and not the run at both the girls first 5k today to support 🐾🤗

Both girls did amazing in this crazy chaos of dogs and humans! Maple did her best impression of a sled dog while also switching into some nice loose leash with check ins while Nugget observed all the sniffs in the air from her throne of a stroller and even took a nice little nap 😀

Get Fit with our new AKC Fit Dog Level 1 Class 💪🏻

This class is designed for all healthy dogs as an amazing introduction to the world of canine fitness!

When: Thursday nights at 6 pm - starts April 30th
Where: Virtual via Google Meet 💻
Cost: $130 -due before start of first class and is non-refundable

Fit Dog classes do require some equipment needed for certain exercises - that does not mean you HAVE to buy fancy equipment! I will send an email with budget/DIY at home equipment that can be used for each exercise needed. Each exercise that does requires equipment can be completed with things you may already have around the house!

More specific Fit Dog equipment can be purchased if desired - I will email details once you are signed up!

Baxter's adventure to Lowe's! 🔨🪴

I am so insanely proud of this little boy and just how far he's come! We walked around showing off his loose leash skills, saw other dogs, people, braved some scary paws up objects, and even helped me pick out some new flowers! 🌸
