It is July 26th. If you are still shooting off fireworks, the boarding dogs and a resident skunk have a message for you:

Birthday on Bodine spotlight goes out to Chief the dog! Chief just celebrated the big 0-4 yesterday, and in true Chief fashion the party actually lasted the entire weekend (because who just celebrates 1 day 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😂). We had pupsicles throughout the weekend to beat the heat, and special birthday treats and games of course!

Chief is a boarding pro and definitely brings the fun and the sass on his visits. Please help us wish Chief a happy birthday by dropping your well wishes in the comments below! 🎉

Being entrusted with your pets (all of you reading this right now) is an honor and a privilege. We love them all. They are as unique and individual as any human. They have nicknames with us, some have special songs we sing them, and it’s probably not shocking for people at this point to drive down Bodine and see us dancing and playing with dogs when we’re taking them out to potty. In short, we have our own special bonds with your pets and we DO get very attached. We LOVE when we can be where they feel safe, and where you feel safe leaving them.

That makes the hardest part of what we do saying goodbye. We mourn every loss as if it were our own, because they are all part of our crazy, chaotic boarding family. This year has been exceptionally hard on losses, and this is only June. Pet Memorial Day is actually in September, but we want to take a moment now to say we are thinking of all of you who have had to say goodbye to your fur kids, be it this year or in general. It truly never gets easier.

PS. Special thanks to those who let us know when they’ve had to say goodbye. You may not always think to reach out to your boarding facilities, but trust us, we/they all appreciate it. 🌺

$10 cash
If you have a yoga mat & block please bring it for your use.
You’re encouraged to bring drinking water in a bottle with a closing lid to class.
