Dear GTTD Family and Friends,
I pray that this post finds you and your family (2 and 4 legged) well, safe and celebrating this time of year with the ones you love.
Please note that it is with great sadness that I'm announcing that Gone to the Dogs Boutique and Grooming will NOT reopen.
Our landlord and I came to agreement that due to financial constraints, permitting issues (backlogs), limitations of qualified repairmen and materials, and other concerns/issues our little grooming business on Corey Ave. will not return.
I would like to thank you, for all your support and encouragement these past three difficult months. Many you have experienced the same challenges and pain that Helene and Milton delivered to GTTD and Angela and I (our home), so I wish you the best during your road to recovery.
I would also like to thank those of you who have continued to have your pet groomed by Missie, from her home. She and I are in debt to you for continuing that business relationship and I hope you will continue to use her expertise to groom your pet.
I also wish to acknowledge Channing Riley (Groomer) for working with me and our clients these past years. She is a wonderful groomer and It's been a great joy watching her "amazing" daughters grow to be fine young girls, and I thank her for that opportunity. THANK YOU, Channing
In addition, I want to thank Missie (Senior Groomer) for working with me these past 9.5 years. She is truly an expert groomer and her dedication to her craft is unmatched. In my 50 years of work, in a variety of professions. I've never met someone who works as hard as she does even under trying circumstances (i.e. Broken foot, flu, etc.). Missie has been the foundation of GTTD for over 14 years. THANK YOU, Missie
Finally, many thanks to all of you (GTTD clients/family) for trusting us with your cherished "family member". It's been a great pleasure getting to know you and your pet(s), while sharing laughs. stories, and sometimes tears. I miss our frequent interactions (weekly. monthly, etc.) and there's a void in my life that has yet to be filled. So,THANK YOU my friends.
May you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas and May 2025 be a "Better" and less eventful year for ALL.
With Love, Brook
