Urgent-All hands on deck. We need as many eyes as we can get on this!

‎This Kitty is missing and we need your help to share the post, raise awareness and help get him back home to his frantic family. The owner is a dear sweet friend of mine, a local animal advocate and a local animal rescuer and TNR Trapper. She has done so much for her community and now she needs your help.

‎The Kitty's name is Jasper. He got outside by complete accident and normally is a 100 percent indoor kitty. He left from his home after a door didn't latch properly, his home is located in the Rosemount Woods Mobile Home Park located in Rosemount MN. He went missing on June 3rd 2026. He is neutered, not microchipped, and front declawed. Possible sighting at nearby park, called Central Park in Rosemount. He is well loved and dearly missed by his family. We are more concerned due to him being front declawed, that being outside for long periods of time could leave him defenseless. This is my friends beloved resident baby. She is very upset and frantically doing all the normal things to find him. She has only received 1 possible sighting but it was blurry and couldn't be confirmed it was him.

‎If you have him, she would very much like to be reunited with her beloved furr ball. We are also looking for sightings or leads to track where he went. Neither of us have seen him.

‎If you think you see him. Please stay still, get your phone out and snap 3 to 5 pics as clearly as you can.. Note the time and cross streets of the sighting. Please do not chase as we do not want him running scared, it will be better for him to be aware of his surroundings. You can try offering cat food or leaving water outside. If you feel comfortable and have a way to safely contain him, please do so but only if he approaches you. He is generally friendly but might be scared being outside. Again we do not want to scare or chase him. Sometimes can be helpful to lure into a park car but carefully leave the air on or stay with him until he is picked up.. Transport Request for Monday

Any volunteers willing to pick up our little 10 lbs pup Bumpers Benjamin Buttons after nueter and microchip on Monday from MNSNAP in Minneapolis and drop him off to me in Rosemount? Pick up times vary between 3-7 pm. They call when awake and stable and give about an hours notice. If you are able to assist, please text Katy at 651-381-8207. Since this is a live animal transport, we do require a volunteer application to be filled and a current picture of your active drivers license be sent to us by email at [email protected]. Waffles has a hilarious habit of falling asleep in the most interesting positions, twisted up like a 🥨 pretzel. He is quite the ham and the acrobat.

‎Waffles would do best in a home with adults or respectful children over the age of 8. Loud environments, chaotic energy, or grabby hands can overwhelm him, so he’s looking for a calmer home where he can truly relax and be himself. Waffles is being re-homed due to his owner becoming abruptly homeless.

‎While Waffles adores people, he prefers to be the only feline in the home—he’s a one-cat kind of guy who wants all your love to himself. That said, he has shown positive interest in calm, respectful dogs and has previously had successful visits with canine companions who understand kitty boundaries. He does seem to readily accept dogs of all sizes that are kind to him.

‎He has excellent litterbox habits and currently uses standard clay clumping litter. Waffles is an easy keeper—he enjoys free-fed dry kibble, fresh water at all times, and a daily serving of wet food (he’s not picky and loves it all!).

‎He’s also a bit of a simple guy—skip the fancy scratching posts, because cardboard scratchers are his favorite!
‎
‎Waffles loves to explore, burrow into blankets, and be wherever his humans are. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a cuddle expert, and a best friend who will adore you endlessly, Waffles is your guy.

Possible Volunteer opportunity if enough interest....Open to all.

We have a scout troop parrot toy making event coming up in about a week and a half. We could use help prepping toy parts for the events. We have two types of opportunities, 1 is drilling various holes in various types of material mostly wood so the kids can string onto wire easily. Must have own drill, bit can be provided. Second option is we have various paper or cardboard products or foam that needs to be cut up or hole punched. All supplies to be provided. Due to tools and using box cutters, must be at least 18 years old or have parents permission. Pick up will likely be Sunday or Monday. We ask you to return by Friday by simply leaving on our porch in Rosemount anytime between the hours of noon to 10pm. I will be reaching out with event details on our rescue page later for Sunday or Monday pick up. Anyone interested can text, 651-381-8207. Must be able to pick up and return to Rosemount. No parrot chopping event this week as we have a local business adopting this week and having their employees assist during a paid shift. Yipee!

Update

I am so late on posting this. Attached is proof of Bumpers Benjamin Buttons vet exam from last week including exam and 4dx heartworm test.

So excited to announce all results of 4dx heartworm test were negative and we were able to start RX heartworm preventative plus flea and tick. Pending, June 8th Bumpers will be neutered and microchipped. After a brief healing period will be starting a puppy training curriculum. As of June 8th, he is fully vetted.

You learn something new everyday...I have always been a fan of the oxbow critical care formulas for our herbivore friends. Feline Rescue donated this carnivore recipe. Kinda excited to try it. Didn't know it was a thing.

Announcement

‎I am excited to announce we have an offer for volunteer transport and are currently coordinating a plan to bring Pepper, the cockatiel into care this week. We had multiple offers all of a sudden from volunteers, Jackie one of our newest volunteers will be covering this transport. Ty Jackie for covering this need and directly helping us save more lives.
