From Today’s Client Update 🐾

Hello, I just finished visiting the girls. We had a fantastic visit, they were both feeling playful and cute. I’m so glad Shasta has gotten so much more comfortable! She really is such a sweetheart. 😊 They both ate up their breakfast. Shasta was on her best behavior, it was actually Kyffin who was trying to steal her sister’s food! 😂 I let the girls hang out on the porch while I cleaned their litter box, refreshed their waters, and cleaned the dishes. There was some drama with the squirrels in the tree. They were very noisy, the girls found their posturing extremely entertaining. But eventually the squirrels calmed down so the girls joined me inside for playtime. It was a lovely visit and I look forward to seeing them next time! I hope you guys had a great trip. 😊

She has been called a “tiny prisoner” 😄🐰

The funny part is she actually has full run of the apartment and just…chooses this life sometimes.

We fixed her a salad, refreshed her hay and made sure everything was clean and stocked.

She has a big personality for such a little bun, and visits like this are always fun 💚🩵

Real Client Update 🐾

Luka did great! We unfortunately got rained on the entire walk. He didn’t seem to mind it though. He had lots of fun sniffing and exploring. The trees are flowering and the tulips are opening! 😍 it’s such a pretty time of year for a walk. He just peed while we were out. I wiped him off, refilled his water, and gave him some treats when we got back!

A Peek Into Your Pet’s Day 🐾
Waiting patiently (sort of 😄) for their walk today.
We got out for some fresh air, took our time, and enjoyed all the neighborhood smells.
Both came back happy and settled in nicely.

🧡 Orange girl alert! 🧡

Did you know only about 1 in 5 orange cats are female? The gene that creates orange fur is carried on the X chromosome, which is why female orange cats are much less common. This sweet girl is basically a walking good-luck charm

We’re proud to stand with our community and participate in the general strike and economic blackout this Friday, January 23rd. We hope you will join in solidarity!

As a locally owned small business, Twin Cities Pets stands firmly with Minnesotans, our immigrant community, with workers, and with the belief that our communities are stronger when we look out for one another.

A few workers will be providing walks for our clients who are essential workers and unable to participate in the strike. We will also provide cat sits for our clients who have booked in advance.

If any of our regular dog walking clients are able to skip, reschedule, or shorten a walk that day, we sincerely appreciate the flexibility. It helps us participate more fully in standing with our community. Message us here, through the client portal, or email [email protected] to make any changes.

We encourage folks to not spend money this Friday, but if you have to, consider spending at a small business or immigrant owned business!

We are grateful to serve such a thoughtful, community-minded group of clients. Thank you for supporting our small business that believes in caring for people as much as we care for pets!

Our government and our tax dollars are funding this violence and terror. ICE has no home here.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting our very first community picnic! Join us on Sunday July 28th from 4-8pm at Cherokee Park. We will have food, drinks, and activities for both humans and dogs 🐾 We ask that current clients check their email to RSVP, and all other community members or prospective clients DM us to RSVP!
