Your cat may look "clean" and fluffy, but underneath all of that fur tells a different story. What you see here is a build-up of dirt, grease, and black heads from never having a proper bath. Your cat may lick itself, but it does NOT clean itself!

Your cat's tail has glands that excrete oils naturally. Stud tail happens when those glands are enlarged and excrete more oils than normal.
It is commonly called "stud tail" because it most frequently appears in intact (unneutered) male cats, where high levels of androgens (male s*x hormones) trigger the overactive glands. However, spayed females and neutered males can also get it.
Don't worry, it's harmless! Just gross. 😅
We treat this with a degreasing serum to get that tail fresh and clean again! ✨️
