Rain or shine, we enjoy our walks! ☔🐾

Today, Angus, Axl, and Bodhi embraced the rainy weather with an adventure at Lake Nokomis. Wet paws, wagging tails, and plenty of sniffing opportunities made for a perfect outing. 🌧️🐕💙 And if you've ever wondered whether dogs experience pure joy, just watch them rolling around in the grass. They absolutely LOVE it! 🌿😂

Meanwhile, 12-year-old Ava made what was arguably the wiser choice. 🤭 She decided to sit this one out, and when we returned home, we found her tucked into bed, completely burrowed under the covers like the little queen she is. 👑🛏️🐶

Every pet is unique, and part of providing personalized care means honoring their individual personalities and needs. Whether it's an energetic lakeside walk, an enthusiastic grass-roll session, or a cozy afternoon nap, I'm happy to make sure each furry family member gets exactly what makes them happiest. ❤️🐾

One of the greatest gifts of pet sitting is getting to experience the comfort, joy, and companionship that animals bring into our lives. Whether it's a wagging tail greeting you at the door, a gentle head resting in your lap, or quiet company after a long day, our pets have a remarkable way of reminding us what truly matters.

Olive has officially begun training for the 2028 Canine Olympics.

Coach reports excellent paw-eye coordination, unwavering determination, and an intense commitment to tennis ball retrieval.

Critics say she's "too cute to be taken seriously."

🐾 A gentle reminder from Bodhi... 🌼

A couple of evenings ago, we traded busy schedules for open trails, wildflowers, and unhurried moments.

Bodhi was completely in his element—sniffing every blade of grass, stretching out in the sunshine, and soaking up the simple joy of just being a dog. Watching him reminded me of something I think we all need to hear:

Slow down.

Notice the breeze. Admire the wildflowers. Take the longer walk. Put the phone away. Be fully present with the ones who love you most.

As the day came to an end, the sky put on an unforgettable show—layers of pink, purple, and fiery orange painted across storm clouds. It was one of those sunsets that makes you stop in your tracks and simply take it all in.

Life can feel heavy sometimes. But our dogs have a beautiful way of bringing us back to what matters: fresh air, loyal companionship, and the gift of this moment.

Bodhi slept very well that night. ❤️🐾

And honestly... so did my soul.

✨ Here's your reminder to take the walk, watch the sunset, and embrace the simple moments. They matter more than we realize.

🐾 Meet Okie.

Three months old in this photo and already full of life.

He had that perfect combination of puppy mischief and sweetness—running, playing, exploring, and then curling up at my feet as if there was nowhere else he'd rather be.

The cuddles, the kisses, and the tiny moments of trust are always the things I remember most.

What a joy it was getting to spend time with this handsome little guy. ❤️

Meet Angus 🐾

Angus may be small, but don’t let the adorable face fool you… he takes his job as “head of security” very seriously. 😂

He’s incredibly loving, loyal, affectionate, and loves cuddling with the people he trusts most. He also has a playful side and is obsessed with his favorite ball toys. He also believes squirrels and bunnies are clearly suspicious creatures that must be chased immediately. 🐿️🐇

But when it comes to protecting his humans? Angus goes into full bodyguard mode. On walks, he’s always alert and watching everything around him. And fair warning… if someone comes too close too quickly, Angus is absolutely not afraid to let them know they’ve crossed the line.

Sweet, funny, fiercely protective, and full of personality — Angus is the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and tiny security detail. 💙
