We wanted to share a gentle reminder about our appointment cancellation policy and why advance notice means so much for a mobile veterinary clinic.
Because we travel directly to our patients, each day’s schedule is carefully arranged by location so we can help as many families as possible, reduce time on the road, and keep our services as efficient and affordable as we can. When an appointment is cancelled at the last minute, it is often very difficult to fill that spot or adjust the day’s route in a way that works well.
To help us continue providing timely and efficient care, any appointment cancelled less than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment will be considered a late cancellation.
A $100 late cancellation fee will be applied to appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice.
We completely understand that unexpected situations do happen, and we always try to approach those moments with compassion and fairness. However, repeated late cancellations can make it much harder for us to care for other pets and families who may be waiting for an appointment. When late cancellations become a frequent issue for a client, continued scheduling with the practice may not be possible.
