Memo to Our Clients, Friends and Community
It is with heavy hearts and deep regrets that K9to5 Doggy Daycare LLC will be closing its
doors for good on April 30, 2026. This part of our journey has been a rollercoaster ride for
the last several weeks as we attempted to keep the doors open moving forward.
We announced at the beginning of April that we had decided to close the business due to
lingering health issues. We felt the pain of ending our dream business venture, not just to
us, but mostly to the many, many clients, loving furry friends, employees and the
community.
When the fate of K9to5 all seemed determined, a surprise ray of hope appeared as
interested potential new owners came forward. We spread the word to the world that
indeed we would not close the business after all and there would be a transfer of
ownership on May 1. This represented a huge sigh of relief to us, our clients and the
community that we have served so well since 2015.
From the high of feeling that our dream would live on and the business be rescued from
closure, came the devastating news that the ownership transfer would not go through. We
felt the low when the roller coaster came to a screeching halt.
The potential new owners had such great energy and expectations, but were not able to
negotiate a reasonable lease/rent agreement with the St.Marys Square Business Complex
LLC owners. The projected monthly increases in rent was too much of a risk.
So sadly, we must say goodbye. We could not say farewell without extending our sincere
thanks and love to those who have been so wonderful in sharing their special fur balls with
us. Thank you for entrusting us with the love and care of your dogs, puppies and even some
kittens along the way. Thank you for being a part of the K9to5 Doggy Daycare family.
