We have had so many things going on lately that it's sometimes hard to sit and go through FB let alone post pictures and try to keep up. My Granddaughter and I were preparing critters for the hot temps we had and I got alot of fun pictures of her. She grew up with these goats and used to spend alot of time with them. It was fun watching her and listening to her laugh while being mobbed because she had treats!!
Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference!!

This came up in memories today. 8 years ago on Gertrude & Major. Kinsley still loves "Gertie" the most!

💕 Happy Valentine's Day from everyone who figured out love before we did 💕

Tonight, across America:

🦉 Great Horned Owls are calling duets in the dark.
He hoots. She answers. Together.

🦊 Fox pairs are curled up in dens, kits on the way.
He'll help raise every one.

🦅 Eagles are settling onto massive nests.
The same nest they've used for 30 years. Together.

🐺 Wolves are traveling the same paths they've walked for a decade.
Side by side. 100 meters apart at most.

🔴 Cardinals are roosting together, fluffed up against the cold.
Tomorrow he'll feed her again.

🦫 Beavers are in their lodge, surrounded by family.
Same partner for 20 years.

You spent today thinking about love.
They spend every day living it.

No flowers. No chocolars. No reservations.
Just showing up. Every single day. For the same partner.

Maybe they know something we're still learning.

Happy Valentine's Day.
Now go outside and listen for the owls. 🦉💕
