Dale is a handsome young blue mixed breed with a heart as big as his smile. 💙 As a proud participant of the Puppies for Parole program, he comes with a great training foundation. And he is ready to bring his skills and personality into a forever home! 🏡 Dale is fully vetted, house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands.

This sweet boy loves spending time with people and is always happy to be included in whatever you're doing. Whether it's going for a walk, relaxing at home, or enjoying some playtime, Dale is eager to be your loyal companion. 🐕🐾 He has a friendly, affectionate personality and is ready to form a lifelong bond with a family of his own. 🫶

We are OVERFLOWING with cats and dogs and need to clear our kennels! Stop by Upco tomorrow, Saturday 6/13 from 10 am to noon to see some of our adoptables or stop by the shelter from 1 pm to 5:30 pm and meet our eligible animals!

🆘🚨FULL HOUSE ADOPTION SPECIAL! 🆘🚨

We are BURSTING at the seams with adoptable pets! 😢💔 Intakes have been outpacing adoptions and we are quickly running out of space. 😟 More than 30 dogs and puppies have come to the shelter in the past 6 days and we have MANY cats and kittens in need of homes.

Friends of the Animal Shelter is offering a one day only ⭐️FREE ADOPTION⭐️ special tomorrow Saturday June 13th, in hopes of finding very deserving pets loving homes! This special applies to available cats and dogs at the shelter, Petco, & Petsmart! 🐈🐕 AND to select dogs that attend our UPCO Pet Supplies adoption event tomorrow! Stop by UPCO between 10am-Noon and meet some wonderful, adoptable dogs before the shelter opens! 🙌

🩵🐾 FRIDAY FEATURE! 🩵🐾

We have a few special friends to share with you today. Meet Lola, Scoobert, Darrell, Harley, and Trammell! 👋

These pups all have several things in common: They are fully vetted, wonderful pups in search of homes. Each fun-loving, affectionate, and adored by staff and volunteers. ☀️🐕 All very deserving of second chances and sure to be loyal companions.

And also our longest term shelter residents. 💔Each of these pups have been in our care 60 days or longer. They have waited patiently, endured stress, persevered, showed us their resilience, and won our hearts! 🥰 And yet somehow, they’ve gone unnoticed and languished in our care. 😢

We share them with you today in hopes that you’ll give them a second look. Stop by and ask to meet them! Spend a bit of time with them. Or share with friends and help them find a match!

A kind and generous supporter has graciously sponsored each of their adoption fees, in hopes of giving them an additional boost and opportunity. Each of the dogs featured in this post are FEE WAIVED and ready to go home same day! 🙌

🍿🐾 POPCORN FOR PETS! 🍿🐾

The next event in St. Joe’s Parties on the Parkway summer concert series is this TOMORROW! Our friends at BMS Logistics Inc will be serving up popcorn for the cause once again! 🍿 Grab a snack in exchange for a free will donation and support local shelter pets! 🐕🐈

⭐️⭐️ BMS will match EVERY popcorn donation at these events, all summer long, DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR! ⭐️⭐️

Help us fundraise while YOU have some summer fun! 🎶☀️ Proceeds support our mission to provide medical care for local shelter pets and help us promote pet adoption!

Grab your lawn chairs or a blanket, check out local vendors, and enjoy live music! This month’s concert features country music, with Michael Shawn Brown! 🤠
