Spring has sprung, and with the change of season, our thoughts turn towards potential springtime hazards for our furry friends.
April showers bring May flowers, and a variety of bugs. Please make sure you treat your pet with good quality flea and tick medication as well as heartworm prevention medication. We have a variety available.
Just like us, pets can be allergic to plants, pollens, dust and foods. Your pet may sneeze, itch, get a rash or have a life threatening anaphylactic shock to stings and bites.
Many insecticides, fertilizers and herbicides that keep our plants and lawns healthy and green may be dangerous to your pet if he/she ingests them. Please use caution when using, follow label instructions and store these products out of the way.
Spring cleaning is a tradition in many households. Almost all cleaning products, even natural ones, contain chemicals that are dangerous to pets. Please keep all cleaners and chemicals out of your pets' way.
