After many wonderful years caring for your beloved pets, we have some difficult news to share.

Twin Pines Animal Clinic will be permanently closing its doors on June 26th. Like so many veterinary practices, we have been deeply affected by the nationwide shortage of veterinarians, and we are no longer able to staff our clinic at the level your pets deserve.

This decision has not been made lightly. Caring for your animals has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives, and the relationships we've built with you and your pets mean everything to us.

Thank you — from the bottom of our hearts — for the trust you placed in us over the years. 🐾

Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!
Some Twin Pines news:
It is with very mixed emotions that we must announce that Dr Randall Schildknecht has decided to retire - his final day at Twin Pines is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27.
He founded his first clinic at Belt and Karnes in 1981. It was a small one-doctor clinic with his sister Sheila running the office.
In 1986, he built the first Twin Pines (named by his mother) on 71 Hwy near County Line Rd. After adding onto the building several times, it was time to build a new bigger clinic. In 2004, Twin Pines moved into its current location on K Hwy.
Although Twin Pines is now owned by Blue River Pet Care, Dr Schildknecht has remained the Medical Director and a mentor to many.
Please join us is wishing Randall all the best in his next chapter! He will be so missed.
