Ron has officially left the building! He was adopted by the same wonderful family who took in his sister (Hermione, now Sushi)! Yay for family reunions ❤

Jasmine the kitten LOVED her time in a foster home while she waited for her spay surgery date! Shout out to her foster momma for providing her with the extra TLC needed to grow into a healthy and happy kitten, the joy is palpable from these pics/videos🐈❤

Tonight our hearts are with our neighbors in Calistoga as the Picket Fire burns nearby. We’re hoping it is contained quickly and everyone, people and pets alike, stay safe.

Emergencies are a reminder of how important it is to be prepared. Do you have a go-bag ready for your pets? Here are some essentials you should include:
• Food and water – at least 3–7 days’ worth
• Food and water bowls – lightweight and collapsible if possible
• Medications – at least a week’s supply, plus vet records
• Leash, collar, and ID tags – with current contact info
• Carrier or crate – labeled with your name and phone number
• Comfort items – favorite blanket, toy, or bed to reduce stress
• Waste supplies – litter and litter box, p**p bags, paper towels
• Photo of you and your pet – for identification if separated

A little preparation now can make a world of difference in an emergency. Stay safe, neighbors.

Thanks for checking in about the Pickett Fire that is currently burning in our backyard. The fire and smoke are currently heading away from Calistoga (blue dot). There are a lot of amazing helpers doing their best to keep it that way. This fire grew rapidly and is a great reminder to remain aware and stay prepared. For Prince, a royal catnap is in order!!

Prince may be shy at first, but don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you—this noble feline has a heart as golden as his name! His favorite place is his cozy “castle”—a soft bed, carrier, or a cardboard box with a blanket, where he feels safe and secure.

Recently, Prince has begun leaving his fortress to perch on the cat tower, where he enjoys surveilling his kingdom. He’ll graciously sniff your hand and may accept a toy as a friendly offering, though you’ll have to earn his trust for head pats!
