People often think pet sitting is just feeding pets and letting them outside, but every family has its own unique dynamic.

This sweet family has four dogs, but two of them don’t get along. During my time with them, that meant carefully rotating dogs every couple of hours so everyone could have time to relax, play, and enjoy their day safely.

It takes a little extra planning, but that’s what individualized pet care is all about. Every pet deserves to feel comfortable, secure, and cared for, and every family deserves peace of mind knowing their pets’ specific needs are being respected.

No two households are exactly alike—and that’s one of the things I love most about this job. 🐾❤️

🌴🐾 Brownie & Melba’s Staycation 🐾🌴

While their parents were off traveling overseas, Brownie and Melba checked in for their own vacation—and they made the most of every minute!

Their staycation included plenty of yard adventures, toy-filled play sessions, tasty treats, cozy naps, and even some reggae music to keep the vibes just right. 🎶☀️

Brownie kept busy exploring and playing, while Melba made sure every toy received the attention it deserved. Together, they brought lots of laughs, lots of personality, and lots of love to the house.

Their family made it home safely and I already miss these two sweet faces. ❤️ I can’t wait to hang out with Brownie & Melba again!!!

A little week-in-review from Harmony Pet Nanny 🐾🤍

This week was full of wagging tails, kitty visits, cuddles, walks, playtime, and lots of sweet little moments in between. Looking back through my camera roll always makes me smile because every photo tells part of the story.

I’m so grateful for every family that trusts me with their pets—it truly means the world to me. Spending my days caring for your dogs and cats is such a privilege, and I love getting to know each of their unique personalities.

Ophelia had a different plan for the morning 😂

I’m over here asking if she’s ready to go potty, and she responds with her paw, a lip lick, and the cutest face imaginable… basically every move except heading for the door. 🐾💛

Every dog is different—and mealtime can look very different from one pup to the next 🐾

Some of our furry friends eat straight from the bowl. Others have supplements, medications, slow feeders, toppers, or very specific feeding routines they’re used to at home.

At Harmony Pet Nanny, we’re always happy to accommodate special diets and individualized feeding routines—because consistency matters, especially when pets are away from their people.

Whether it’s fish oil, bone broth, eggs, blueberries, carrots, medications, or “my dog only eats it this way”… we’re here for it 💛

Keeping your pets comfortable means keeping their routines familiar—and we’re happy to handle the details.

Weekly recap time 🐾

Another fun, busy week with the Harmony Pet Nanny crew — full of tail wags, cuddle sessions, goofy moments, neighborhood walks, and making sure every pet stayed happy and comfortable in their own routine.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know all the different personalities. Some pets want nonstop playtime, some want emotional support cuddles, and some just want someone to supervise their backyard squirrel patrol 😂 I genuinely love every bit of it.

Luke got very up close and personal for this shot, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s just something about a sweet pup who wants to be right in your space—it’s the best kind of love.

Sweet Teddy has been spending a lot of time with me these past few weeks 🐾💛

His mom is currently overseas handling an emergency, and while dad is holding things down here with work, I’ve been stepping in to help make sure Teddy’s routine stays consistent and full of love. Some days we just hang out together, and other times, we have a sleepover.

Situations like this are exactly why I do what I do. Pet care isn’t just about walks or drop-ins—it’s about supporting families and being someone they can rely on when life throws the unexpected their way.

Teddy has truly become part of the family, and I’m so grateful to be trusted with his care during this time 💛
