Lilly has been working hard on impulse control so her mom can enjoy taking her out places and going for walks. Todays session was at Lowe’s and she did such a great job on her leash! She is such a sweet girl🩷

Tonight’s session was all about behavioral therapy! Roxy is learning how to keep calm and put her focus back on mom when she is in the presence of what triggers her. She is already showing great improvement!

My Story

My name is Mallory Crites and I am a wife, mother of two boys, long time dog lover, and dog mom to Harley and Roo. I obtained my certification through Animal Behavior College in 2008 and worked with a trainer in Bloomington, IL training shelter dogs to help make them more adoptable. Soon after that, I opened Good Dog School of Obedience in Taylorville, IL. I loved every minute of training and continued doing it for the next three years. When my first son was born in 2011, I stopped training so i could spend more time at home being a mom. Now that my children are a little older I am ready and so excited to bring back this part of my life! I am now offering in-home obedience training to Taylorville and surrounding areas. I look forward to this new journey and can’t wait to help my new clients bring out the best in their dogs!
