Team BCPH had a fantastic weekend at the Cowtown Classic April Show in Okeechobee. Blake put together impressive runs in the open cow classes, and every horse stepped up and exceeded their goals. Our riders reached meaningful personal milestones along the way, and we’re incredibly proud of the hard work, growth, and progress shown by both horses and riders. We are beyond blessed with this team.

Pig-pig continues to step up and seems to love the show life. He carried both Blake and Audra to high scores and stayed consistent between levels. This horse takes the cow classes personal and is a boxing machine! We are most proud of his first in a large competitive cutting class.

Gus showed under three riders this show. He truly loves the cutting and was competitive at every level. Audra marked a personal best of a 72, winning her class!🎉. Then Bailee took him in and had the high score in a large youth class on some tough cattle.👏🏼. This was Gus/Bailee's fifth time showing together and their scores have steadily improved. We can't to watch this team take the Florida High School finals in a few weeks. Blake had some tough luck with his second cow but still ended up with a 72. Gus is an exceptional animal and has come back from his injury ready to work.

Malichi is officially a NRCHA Money Earner! 🤑He was laser focused this show. He won the Open Cow Work with some monster fence turns and a stop with a big 73.5!! He circled beautifully in the Snaffle bit. In the Open Cutting he had some tough luck when he picked up some trash cattle but he showed he is ready to hang with the big boys.

First NRCHA show for our little Barbie filly, and she became a Money Earner🤑. Journey took her first big show like she's done it all her life. This show doesn't have JR and SR divisions as the youngest horse in the class she was up against the big guns and, boy, did she hold her own! Journey was fourth in a tough cutting class against 22 other horses! Everything she does is elegant and classy, you can't help but watch. She was second to Malichi in the Snaffle bit class and lined out a good cow in the cow work. We couldn't be prouder of this filly!

Duties include: grooming, bathing, saddling, feeding, cleaning stalls, keeping a neat & tidy work environment, warming up & cooling horses out.

🐴Must have experience with horses
🐴 Must be able to drive & show up reliably.

🐴 Must be a team player & take instruction.
🐴 Must be comfortable handling young horses & stallions.

We are a cow horse and ranch horse training facility that shows in AQHA VRH & NRCHA events. Some show travel could be included for the right candidate. If interested the right candidate could help work cows and do ranch work.

Team BCPH stopped in at the April FRHA show this weekend to enter some cow classes and kick off the spring show season. It was a great time to catch up with some old friends and get some show time in. We couldn't be prouder of the horse's work after so much time off!

This was Journie's first show ever and she showed that she is unflappable. She turned heads everywhere she went and showed she's more than just a pretty face giving all the JR horses a run for their money when she got in front of a cow with a 75 roping (!!) 74 Boxing and 71.5 in the herd. Not bad for her first time ever at a show. We CANNOT WAIT to see what the future holds for this filly!

After a two year showing hiatus Piglet showed he was back and ready to leave an impression. This stud has the most heart and absolutely loves being the center of attention at the show. In the working ranch horse he showed that he is still a monster down the fence marking a huge 76!! Then a 73.5 in the roping portion. In the herd he marked a personal best of a 75.5! We couldn't be happier with his performance in both the open and his amateur debut and can't wait to watch him go!

This was Malichi's first show back from the futurity and he did what he does, with a 74.5 in the boxing and laying down 30 ft slides in the working ranch horse for a 73.5 rein score. We were most proud of a BIG 76.5 down the fence!! He showed tremendous confidence and expression in the herd and down the fence and we feel he is just getting started showing us what he is capable of.

This was Gus' first time back in a pen since his eye injury and we are thankful for every time we get to throw a leg over this gritty gelding. He marked a 74 in the boxing and 72.5 in the rein and roped beautifully for the WRH but had some tough luck in the Herdwork when his cow decided to run over a turn back horse and leave the working area instead of facing Gus. Audra took him for a spin as well and the two showed great progress making good cuts and avoiding major errors.

It was so fun to be showing with Emily and Mrs. Rhonda! Em & Valley caught second place in the Ranch Roping and we couldn't be prouder!!! This duo also made some smooth moves and held a pretty tough cow in the middle for the boxing that was neat to watch.

It was also great to see Mrs. Monica and Phaedra for a tune up! Vegas Reece made an appearance as a turn back horse.

Look for the BCPH Team in 2 weeks at the Cowtown Classic!
