Hello fellow and new clients! As many of you know, I made the decision to move to Pittsburgh last march!

Weelllllllll!!!!! I'm back!!! It took me several moves to realize that home is home and this is where I need to be.

SO with that being said, I'm back to grooming full time!! I totally understand if you had found other groomers to replace me while I was gone, BUT, I'm super excited to see some old familiar faces again!! I'm pretty open still and I'm looking forward to gain my clients back!

Happy New Year to the clients of K9 Kutz!! What's a better way to waltz into February with a fresh new do? These are the months that nail clipping is especially crucial because the pups (face it, and us humans) aren't getting as much exercise as in the warmer months and their nails Aren't being filed down. Don't forget that I also have medicated shampoos and deep conditioning treatments for the fur kids that have sensitive skin to the cool, dry air. Just because it's winter doesn't mean that your dog doesn't need groomed.
1. Winter grooming saves you money so I don't have to double charge you (or more) in the summer when you bring your matted pup to me.
2. Don't forget about those undercoats that have to be properly maintained and brushed in order for the undercoat to do its job correctly.
3. Matts are UNCOMFORTABLE for the dogs! Show them how much you love them by avoiding unnecessary pain and give them a spa day with me!
4. We put lotion on so we don't get itchy, these pups get itchy too, I have moisturizing shampoos!
5. The salt, ice and gravel hurt your pups pads! It sticks to the hair that grows in between their pads and can and will burn their poor delicate feet. This is included in a groom! The hair needs to be cut and maintained to keep their pads comfortable and healthy!
6. FLEAS FLEAS FLEAS!!!!!!!! Yes, Clients! They're still out!!!!! This warmer weather has prolonged their stay this year and they aren't wanting to go anywhere anytime soon! Let me help you help them!
7. I do NOT have to shave your dog down! I have longer blades, clipper guards and I've recently taken the route of scissor cutting, layering and thinning their hair! I love it and I'm getting better by the groom!
8. Don't forget that I also offer teeth brushing for only $8! Nails alone with no groom is only $10!

‼️ I attached a different article to this post about winter grooming. Did you know that dogs with undercoats have to be groomed routinely for their undercoats to work properly? Their undercoats keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer, if the coat has matted or even just an over abundance of dead hair due to no grooming, the dog could suffer major complications, why take the risk when I'm offering to help? Also, letting me cut the hair from the bottom of their pads will reduce the chances of cracked, painful, rough pads. The water, dirt, mud, and snow stick to the hair and cause damage to their pads.
🔴 Trust me! You're not helping your dog by waiting till the warmer months to groom them!
