I’ve been so excited to share this mount and it got picked up last night so I can finally post it! This smaller bobcat got brought in and they wanted it posed in a tree. After some suggestions from me we came up with a plan. I’d seen this form available but I’ve never seen someone use it and I’m not sure why it’s not more popular because I love it! This little one definitely holds the place of my favorite bobcat mount I’ve done.

I’ve done a few cattle mounts and really enjoy doing them and the unique aspects of each. This big guy was a show steer that traveled around and when it was time for him to be processed they decided they wanted him mounted. Thank you for choosing me to preserve him and I’m excited for 2 more longhorn mounts to get put together!

I’m not saying I would say no if someone asks me to mount a mourning dove again but I will definitely be cursing under my breath. I have a few things I will do differently next time but I’m pretty happy with how these 2 turned out.

Another antelope out the door. You’d never know but this guy was split up the center of his chest and neck all the way to his jaw and then across the neck. It took me quite a bit of time and patience but it definitely paid off.
