Update: We have someone who stepped forward, willing to foater and continue training so we dont fall behind.

We are in desperate need for a temporary Forster or adopter for Bandit. Bandit is in boarding/training classes at smart paws till June 8th and has to leave. Bandit mother is 100% German Shepherd and daddy is 100% redbone c**n hound, a great mix, smart, loyal, is trained, knows commands, great off leash, etc. Only thing has is separation issues but working on that and has life time free classes at smart paws. We are just a small rescue with limited to no help and can not afford to pay for extended boarding, bringing him home with me won't do justice as we are foster based and want to keep progressing with Bandit. One of the Thanksgiving pups is back with us, is about 6 months old, fixed, utd on shots and chipped. Bandit is returned no fault of his or his adopter! The adopters have above and beyond even paying for training classes. Please read story below.

Bandit is an intelligent, sensitive dog who is great on leash, in public spaces, the beach and with other dogs. He is potty trained and loves to snuggle. He is working on reducing his separation anxiety and needs an owner who will continue his crate training. Bandit is best suited for an active family without young children.

Bandit is able to continue his training (free of charge) through group classes at Smart Paws Resort and Training in St Augustine.

$500 REWARD IF FOUND!
Please let's help get W***y back home to his mother who misses him dearly! W***y slipped his collar/leash downtown near the Casa Monica and took off towards the water and went right towards Marine St. W***y is shy so please, please don't chase. We just need a location/siting so we can set up a trap. Please is anyone has our seen him, please call 904-217-2288 so we can get W***y back to his owner who is just heart broken and has suffered so much in the past year.
We spoke with the owner who is trying to stay town longer to find her dog but if she has to leave for any reason we will continue the search, we won't let her down.

Adoption event!
May 30th 10-1 we will be at Tractor Supply Co. in St Augustine with puppys and small young adults, pre-approved applications can take home same day.
We will also be doing a food drive, in desperate need of cat food for the COA Council On Aging a orginazation we help, puppy food as we have a suprise momma we did not know was pregnant

We will also have our friend from The Loving Paws, LLC on site doing nail trims/grinding

Just a update, we have gotten calls in regards to the dogs we adopted out that still need to be fixed, don't worry we see still fulfilling our obligations with getting our adopted dogs fix. Just because we are shutting down doesn't mean we will neglect out obligations! The pups from the thanksgiving bunch and the living single bunch.

Again we will be shutting down, not taking anymore in and looking to place the last of the dogs we have.

We started this resue in 2015, its been a great long run but with a very heavy heart we will not be taking anymore in and will be shutting down when we get the last dogs placed/adopted. We need to find forever homes for these pecious pups!
I started this rescue when a very good friend of mine passed away leaving his beloved dogs behind to a ill fate, I couldn't let that happen, I took them in till they found forever homes or stayed with me till the end, even though I was only doing this for my friends dogs I realized their was a need and ended up helping more so we kept on. We have tried and done everything we could to grow, get a building, donations, etc. Even though we have had some wonderful people help and I even take whats left once my bills are paid I give the rest to the rescue dogs and im ok with that and of course. There are always 1 or 2 people that need to be vindictive with false reports wasting my and aninal controls time, rescue is a thankless job, I do not do it to be recognozied, I do it for what matters and thats the animals.
We have helped people who didn't want to get rid of their pets for medical reasons so we did what we could do to help and pets owners and they were so greatful. Its not always trying to rehome but assisting to keep familys together. As much as I want to continue, we have gone as far as we can!
