It’s so hard to volunteer and get photos at the same time! Regardless, we’re wrapping up another successful volunteer day with and we’re looking forward to returning on Sunday, August 16th from 9 am - 2 pm at 5001 Humboldt Ave N to provide free nail trims to our community!

Catch us afterwards at for $10 nail trims for our feline friends only (current rabies vaccination required) from 3 pm - 5:30 pm! If you hurry, you can sneak in for a kitty nail trim today until we head out at 5:30 too!

Check out these recently groomed pets looking their absolute best! Regular grooming not only keeps your pets looking fabulous but also contributes to their overall health.

Looking for brush recommendations? For curly/wavy coated dogs that need regular haircuts, we’d suggest starting with a slicker brush and following up with a fine tooth metal comb, paying extra special attention to the ears and tail, as well as belly and legs. These are the most commonly missed spots - trust us when we say we don’t want to shave your cute fluffy dog anymore than you do! Matting can cause mobility issues, sensitive skin and pain, and can eventually result in circulation issues and bald patches causing your dog to look ‘mangey’ - none of which are fun. If your dog gets matted - no big deal! Sometimes the best and most humane thing to do is shave and restart :)

For shorter hair dogs who shed constantly, a .official King Komb deshedding tool is your best friend! We also really love the deshedding tool for long haired shedders, but definitely be very careful not to over-brush with it or use it on the wrong coat type.
