Groomers are, at heart, creatives! Come visit us at the 2026 Walk for Animals at the MN State Fairgrounds on May 2nd, followed by Art-a-Whirl in Logan Park from May 15-17th. We'll have pet products and pet-related art (all made in-house by our very talented stylists) for sale as well as some live grooming demos and even a couple of poodles modeling as living sculptures.

Stay posted for more info, or visit us to check out some of the art/handmade products ahead of time in store!

Our first Basic Grooming class went so well! If you missed it, no worries - we are planning to provide more opportunities for grooming education for owners in the near future 🙂

We'll be back at North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center this Sunday from 9 am - 2 pm to provide free nail trims to the community (cats & dogs), and then at Urban Tails afterwards from 3:00-5:30 pm for $10 nail trims (cats only, proof of rabies vaccine required)!

Come learn Grooming Basics at our FREE seminar class from 6-7 pm on Wednesday, March 11th at North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center. We’ll cover everything you need to know to begin simple upkeep for your pup at home including

- a printed tool/product list
- a hands-on nail trimming practicum
- an overview of coat types and techniques specific to your dog’s needs
- some simple training, handling, and desensitizing approaches to practice at home
- and a dog anatomy print-out so you can start studying your dog’s structure and their range of motion as it pertains to their grooming needs!

We’ll even have live dogs to demo proper brushing and handling techniques - please leave yours at home **

Happy Howl-A-Ween!

Last weekend we hosted a trunk at the second annual Trunk-or-Treat! We offered puppy cuddles with one of our shop dogs, Gnocchi, handed out over 800+ bags of candy/stickers, and gave away tons of Bluey themed prizes for playing games. Who doesn't love candy and games for a good cause?

This Sunday: free nail trim clinic @ North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center (2825 N 2nd St) from 9 am - 2 pm

This Sunday: half off, cats only nail trim clinic (proof of rabies required) @ Urban Tails (2106 Lyndale Ave S) from 3-5:30 pm

Next Sunday 10/25: Trunk-or-Treat with Twin Cities Pride @ Loring Park (1382 Willow St) from 11 am - 2 pm. We'll have candy, games, and prizes for both two-legged & four-legged kids!
