GET DOWN WITH PUPPY PROOFING...
Before bringing a puppy home, you need to get the house read. the best way? Act like a dog! Get on your hands and knees, and go through each room. Look for things that will attract a playful puppy. Are there tassels hanging off curtains, rugs, lose shoes? Remove remote controls, eyeglasses and other objects from low tables. Puppies like to chew on things that smell like people. Be especially careful to remove anything that might be harmful or toxic. Such as plants, cleaners and even wires that can shock a dog if chewed on.

Mange can be a disease that is often gone undiagnosed as well as mistreated due to the different types. If your dog is suffering from symptoms of mites be sure to take it to a veterinarian right away for treatment. You'll be glad you did as well as your dog.

Mange is a skin disease caused by several species of tiny mites, common external parasites found in companion canines. Some mange mites are normal residents of your dog’s skin and hair follicles, while others are not.

We recently had a dog in here suffering from Pyometra and had to do emergency surgery to save its life. We realize that this is a condition that is not common and therefore not well known about. It is however very serious in dogs as well as cats, so we are sharing a little information about it to keep you informed. This is also a very good reason to get your pets Spayed as soon as you can for prevention of this condition.

Pyometra is the condition of a pus filled uterus.
