UPDATE

We will be picking Oakley up tomorrow. He tentatively has an appointment on Monday to get neutured and brought up to date on shots. He will remain for 7-10 days to heal before we will do any meets with him. Thank you to everyone that is interested in meeting him. We will go through applications. We are not 1st come, 1st serve. As we want only the best placements.

We are not recommending a home with cats, as he chases them. For their safety we do not recommend a home with them.

EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED! 🚨

OAKLEY. A LOCAL DOG

Located about 45 minutes from the rescue.

We are looking for an emergency foster for a 2-year-old male dog who urgently needs a place to go. ❤️

His owner is a newly single mom with four children who can no longer keep him, and we are hoping someone can step up to help before he has nowhere to go.

🐾 What we know about him:

2-year-old male
Reportedly good with other dogs
Reportedly good with children
Crate Trained
Leash Trained
Good recall
Will need to be neutered. RESCUE WILL DO THIS
Will need to be taken for vaccinations
RESCUE WILL DO THIS
🙏 We need someone willing to open their home temporarily and give this boy a safe place to land. He deserves a chance, and a foster could make all the difference for him!

We know everyone is stretched thin, but if you have room in your home and heart to help, please reach out. Even sharing this post could help us find the right person!

📩 Please message Saving Shepherds Rescue if you can foster or have questions.
Every foster home makes a difference. ❤️🐾
