We are the union chapter representing the Faculty at California State University, Sacramento!

It’s a rainy but exciting day! Our chapter is a sponsor of the Dia de Los Mu***os events at Sac State. See the program for all of the day’s events and make sure to check out the ofrendas. It is also VOTING DAY! There are ballot drop boxes around campus and a polling place at Modoc Hall! And while you’re voting, be sure to vote in the CFA strike authorization vote (link in bio). ❤️

Today we faced down the HORRORS of management’s proposals to demand better pay, balanced workload, academic freedom protections, sensible AI policy and NO to healthcare CUTS 🔪🔪🔪 If you missed out on the horror show, there’s still time to vote for strike authorization at the link in bio! Huge thanks to the organizers, members, and students who made this event a smashing success 🧨💥

10/29/2026

it’s a good day for a rally! Come to the Healthcare Horror Show and Strike Authorization Vote today, at 11:30 in the Main Quad. Come fill this space and show this administration we aren’t backing down from our reasonable proposals! See you soon!! Hands off our Healthcare!

10/27/2026

Is this a horror movie? 19 Months since our contract expired and management still thinks a one-time bribe can buy us off… worse yet, they want to mess around with our healthcare benefits. Strike authorization vote is live on the CFA website and you can vote in person (and enjoy a free lunch!) at our healthcare horror show on Thursday.

10/25/2026

Are you ready for the healthcare horror show? Come by and tell us your story about what healthcare cuts would do to you and your family!

10/21/2026

Have you registered for the healthcare horror show? Did you know that we will be holding a STRIKE AUTHORIZATION VOTE and you can vote in person at the event. Show up in force and show management we’re refusing any cuts to our healthcare!

10/16/2026

There’s nothing more horrifying than management trying to chip away at our hard-earned benefits. Join us for the healthcare horror show 10/29. Get your lunch and any needed accommodations by RSVPing with the QR code or link in bio!
