SOS!!! (Nor Cal) Facebook Hive: Kamm NEEDS a foster home. He CANNOT stay in boarding anymore. He was dumped in a field and an amazing animal advocate has been championing him and funding his boarding for MONTHS. He is deteriorating. I know it's tempting to focus on the dogs on the euth list but we cannot forget about the dogs who are barely an inch away from ending up there. This boy could do well with a female companion dog and he is GREAT with kids. And he hops onto boxes and loves water! What more could you want? PLEASE someone step up to foster this sweet boy. He deserves a chance.

Part of our mission is to financially help community members in need when we can.

House Hippo Rescue, along with Ripple Effect Animal Project are covering most of the surgery for Mona, who has a giant tumor that needs to be removed right away, as the vet said it can rupture and she could bleed out at any moment. Her surgery is scheduled on Thursday so time is of the essence! Her family has exhausted all of their personal funds and available credit on Mona’s other emergency treatments. We are asking for the community to help make this happen. This little girl deserves to have many more years with her best friend doggie. Please share and contribute to help Mona if you’d like!
