Found this odd semi-transparent koi. I only noticed it because it was not metallic despite it being born from Kikusui. The last transparent koi I've seen was over 10 years ago from Shusui which I remember having soulless black eyes. As far as I can remember, they do just end up being normal-ish looking later.

Orange (Hi) and Black (Kuro) medaka restocked. The orange medaka are domestically bred, but most of the black medaka are from Japan bred by Suda Kazutaka at Suda Koi Farm.

The bee that got away. Saw a bee stuck in a spider web made inside one of my Japanese Rice Fish tubs. It was stuck for a good while before it got away right as I pulled out my phone. Also, there are so many spiders making webs in these tubs.

Young Ginga / Galaxy Medaka or Japanese Rice Fish. The most distinct feature of this breed is the yellow fins which are more visible from the side in an aquarium.

Mostly Orange / Hi Medaka or Japanese Rice Fish. Not sure who threw in those 2 koi cull in. These will need to be quarantined for a while so they won't be available just yet.
