We received these photos of Cash who was adopted by his wonderful foster Mom Stephanie. She says he is Mr. Perfect!
What a lucky boy. Being in danger at the shelter to having such a wonderful life where he is loved so much! So happy for Cash and his adoptive Mom. 💙❤️

Rascal is looking for a home of his own. He is a small boy weighing 36 lbs. Rascal is dog and people friendly. He will chase a squirrel so may not be good with a cat. He has not been around children since we rescued him so we do not know about kids. He is a higher energy young dog about a year and a half old. He likes to do zoomies in the backyard so a home with a fenced in yard is a must for him. He was rescued with his ear torn. Rascal had surgery to remove the ear flap. He hears great and has zero issues from this.
Rascal is very loving and will come up to lay by your side, roll over
for belly rubs and enjoy getting pets and scratches. He even enjoys being brushed. He truly is a great little boy. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, housetrained and super sweet. Meet our newest dog Peaches! She was most likely dumped in an orchard . Nobody knows how long she roamed before being trapped. She is very underweight at 21 pounds. Peaches is very fearful. Today she spent the day at the vet for x rays with sedation for a hurt leg. The x rays show that she has a broken hip socket.
She is only 8 months old. We are now waiting to hear from the surgeon after he reviews the x rays. Thank you to Amy who offered to foster Peaches if we rescued her. Many of you probably remember Anata. His owner passed away and Anata was left inside with no food or water until the sheriff department came to do a welfare check. Anata spent 5 weeks at the shelter in Northern California without ever getting out of his kennel. He lucked out by getting an awesome foster home who has fell in love with him and adopted him! He has two chow brothers and some kitties now in his family. We are overjoyed for Anata. Thank you, Kristina and Mike, for giving this big, sweet boy a wonderful home and life! He deserves this so much!

We received this wonderful update on Enzo and want to share. He was rescued from Contra Costa Shelter and fostered by Katie and Jessie. They fell in love with him and adopted him. He has just completed obedience training. Pictured here with his chow sister Heidi and his best friend the kitty! We are thrilled for Enzo. 💙

Look who got his freedom ride out of the shelter, Anata! He arrived last night and is such a good boy. He is dog friendly and sweet. Thank you to his foster Mom Kristina for saying she would foster him. This has saved his life! So many people were involved in helping. Thank you to all!! Anata's owner passed away and he was
found in the home without food and water. The sheriff department took him to the shelter where he sat for 5 weeks never being let out of his kennel. He now runs in the grass backyard and goes on walks at his foster home. We are so happy to have him safe with us.
