A year ago, my career took an unexpected turn.

After 20+ years in software sales and enablement, I suddenly found myself focusing full-time on the business I’d spent years building on the side: Dog Of Honor®.

What started as a crazy idea has now grown into a company that has supported 200+ weddings across Northern California.

But here’s the thing most people don’t see.

Behind every dog walking down the aisle is a mountain of systems, workflows, contracts, questionnaires, emails, timelines, and follow-up. Building those systems became one of my favorite parts of running a business.

And the more I refined them, the more fellow wedding professionals started asking for help with their own.

“How do you have HoneyBook set up?” ”Can you show me your workflows?” ”How do you keep track of everything?”

So I decided to make it official.

Introducing Fetch & Flow Consulting.

A place where I can combine 20 years of software expertise with five years of experience building a successful wedding business.

And before anyone asks: Dog Of Honor isn’t going anywhere. 🐾

I’m still helping dogs take center aisle every weekend. Now I’m also helping wedding pros create systems that save time, reduce overwhelm, and create a better experience for their clients.

Sometimes the next chapter isn’t about starting over. It’s about bringing together everything you’ve learned along the way.

Happy Pride Month. 🌈

Today, I’m proud to launch a new page on the Dog Of Honor website: our Commitment to Inclusivity & Belonging.

Since the day I started this company, I’ve believed that every couple deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and celebrated exactly as they are. Every wedding is unique, and every love story deserves the space to be authentically told.

Living and working in Northern California, one of the things I love most is the incredible diversity of our communities. We have the privilege of serving couples from different cultures, faiths, backgrounds, identities, and traditions, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

While Pride Month is a meaningful time to celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ couples, this page also reflects a broader commitment to creating a welcoming experience for all couples, all families, and yes, all pups too.

Over the coming weeks, I’m excited to spotlight LGBTQIA+ wedding professionals who are helping make our industry more inclusive, welcoming, and representative of the beautiful diversity around us.

Because every couple deserves to feel like they belong.

Some dogs walk down the aisle.Some dogs roll down the aisle like absolute legends.

This weekend, I had the honor of chaperoning Bailey, a 13 year-old Pittie mix, and Stitch, a sweet Frenchie who refuses to let anything slow him down. Watching him sprint toward his groom with those wheels flying behind him? Pure joy.

Proof that love, joy, and a little determination make the most unforgettable entrances. 🤍
