We would like to thank you all for your kind words of encouragement for Cowboy! It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Cowboy's passing. His silly personality and goofy way he got through every day is going to be so deeply missed! Thank you Dr. Justin and Christine McCormick for all you did to try to help Cowboy!

When unfortunate things happen you are reminded of how many wonderful people you are surrounded by! We want to thank everyone that helped, offered help and sent messages of encouragement today! We have had a lot of people checking in on how Cowboy is doing, we thought it would be easiest to make a post, “Cowboy” Shiny Lil Bond sustained a broken pastern during the American Rope Horse Futurity today. Cowboy showed his true grit determination, heart and soul even after his injury he completed the go making three more strides and facing! To say we are heart broken is an understatement, however with the quick response of the vets on site and Dr. Justin and Christine McCormick Cowboy will have surgery tomorrow to place pins in hopes of giving him a second chance at life. We will update as we know more. Thank you once again to all those that helped today! 🙏🏼♥️
