This Memorial weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🙏🏼
Their sacrifice and the sacrifice carried by their families will never be forgotten.
Freedom is never free, and today we remember those who paid the ultimate price along with those that have served and those that continue to serve. May God Bless America 🙏🏼🙌🏼 🇺🇸

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Grady and Dr. Cooper at Durango Equine Veterinary Clinic for your continued commitment and dedication in caring for our equine family during the frightening situation with the Buckeye wildfire.
We are also incredibly thankful to Fred and Michelle Merrick for your generosity and hospitality in opening your barn to our mares and foals until we could arrive.
Also, we would like to thank Jesse Mcnett for jumping into his pickup, hooking up and heading out to help us haul our mares home! No questions asked!
In a world that can sometimes make you question humanity, moments like these remind us that there are still truly kind and selfless people all around us.
Thank you again, it was such a pleasure meeting you both and all of your beautiful, well bred horses.

The 2022 buckskin stallion is by $11 million reined cow horse Hall-of-Famer Shining Spark and out of Carrera Cat—the Metallic Cat daughter that won an AQHA Superior in Heeling for Brad Lund. In 2023, a Carrera Cat yearling filly sold for $180,000 as a yearling at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sale.

“Ty Smith lined it up for us to get this young stallion, and he’s really something special,” says owner Layne Billadeau. “He’s one of the prettiest buckskins you’ve ever seen and the most athletic. From the first steer he ran, he looked like he’d been doing it for years.”
