Purina did a study on dogs fed to be an ideal BCS (body condition score) vs overweight several years ago. The study found that dogs with an ideal body weight lived two years longer on average. About 20% longer. Remember this company makes money on selling food!

Our dogs are so good at begging! After all, they can’t read this study. It’s so easy to make them happy with treats (listen, no one knows this better than the vet’s office!)

But when mean Dr Anna discusses weight she ONLY has your pet’s best interest in mind. Truth is, we also make more money on unhealthy pets. But we didn’t go into this for the money, and our goal is *always * to keep them healthy and happy.

We hope everyone enjoyed their extra hour of sleep! (Except parents and pet owners 😉)
