Tuesday into yesterday I spent a good portion of the day getting everyone fully groomed. Only one that I have left to do now is my old girl Josie who can’t stand for long periods of time so I need a second set of hands to do her. Feels good to have everyone fresh and clean, for a short period anyways because the snow has already started to melt again so back to a mud filled yard shortly

Jessica is the only puppy that remains here at lost island collies waiting to find her furever! Don’t worry tho she might be missing her siblings but she is in good company and getting lots of extra attention and love from people and fur kids. Even my oldest collie Josie has decided that it’s not so bad having one puppy around (she’s not a fan of puppies in her older years)

8 weeks old today!! We have spent a good portion of the morning into the afternoon working on taping puppy ears. 6 out of the 9 done (2 don’t want them taped and 1 I’m waiting to show how at time of pick up) They are much more cooperative when tired so we made sure to get lots of play time in before starting. This is the last full day of them all being together tomorrow 2 puppies head home then 2 Friday, 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, and 1 Monday. Then we will be down to Amanda and Jessica.

The puppies went to the vet today for their first shots and check up everyone came back with a clean bill of health. When scheduling I didn’t think about how close to breakfast that would be but even with full tummies we didn’t have any car sickness or accidents along the way. Most of the puppies weighed in around 9 lbs but not Frank he weighed in at a whopping 12lbs. Frank the tank!!
