A Truck Totalled, A Mission Interrupted

But You Can Help Us Keep Going!!

For five weeks now, we’ve been holding things together with duct tape and determination. On March 27th, our truck—our lifeline—was destroyed in a head-on collision. Allen, our co-founder, was behind the wheel. Thankfully, he walked away with his life. But the truck? It’s gone. And with it, the heartbeat of our operations.

At Serenity Saviors, every bale of hay, every bag of grain, every emergency vet trip begins with that truck. Without it, we are forced to transport feed for 36 horses and 8 donkeys using a 1994 Mercury Cougar—a two-door coupe with a failing transmission and a tendency to overheat. That means two trips a day, seven days a week, just to keep our herd fed. No bulk feed discounts. No emergency Vet transport. Just two hours of driving each day, foraging for what we can carry.

We’re not asking for the world. Just enough to put a reliable truck back under Allen’s hands—and restore the rhythm of care our animals rely on.

We need to raise $5,000 for a down payment on a used pickup. The insurance settlement will take months, but our horses can’t wait.

👉 Will you help us bridge the gap and get back on the road?

Whether it’s $10 or $100 or $1,000; your support helps us do what we’ve always done: show up, every single day, for the animals who’ve already been through too much.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Serenity Saviors Team
