Town & Country Animal Hospital will be closed on Friday, August 29th. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8 am as we will observe Labor Day on the 1st. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

New Service!! We are pleased to announce that Town & Country Animal Hospital can now offer PennHip radiographic services to pet owners. Dr. Matt has obtained PENNHIP certification and we would be happy to take and submit PENNHIP radiographs. If you intend to use your pet for breeding, especially if you have one of the athletic, high performance breeds, we recommend both sets of parents have hip certifications so that you have the most confidence you can knowing the offspring will have a lower chance of developing hip dysplasia. And, if you are just wanting to know early in your pets life if they have a high probability of developing hip dysplasia, PENNHIP is a great way to determine that so we can discuss medical management to mitigate any dysplastic changes. Give us a call to schedule or discuss this procedure.

JOB OPENING - Town and Country Animal Hospital is looking to fill a full time position. Punctual, reliable, trustworthy and honest are non-negotiable requirements. We can and will train the right person. Job duties include but are not limited to: working with the public - scheduling appointments and boarding dates; filling medications; working with animals - restraint, surgery prep, administering medications; and maintaining cleanliness of the clinic. July 4th is on July 4th once again this year. We anticipate loud boom booms to occur in and around the City of Russell. If you need meds to keep your fur buddies calm, it’s time to get them. The 4th is too late. It’s also a great time to make sure vaccines are current and pets are microchipped as this is the day of the year when more pets get lost than any other. Happy Independence Day!

Clients - we have a new software management program at the clinic. One of the nice features is the ability to send reminders via email. BUT, to do that we need your email. If this is of interest to you, please do the following -

Special - we will take a limited number of cat spays and neuters at half price for the rest of this week - May 21 to May 23! HALF PRICE! Rabies vaccination, if not current, will be given. Call during office hours to claim a spot!

Reminder - we will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6 from 8 AM until 1 PM as we learn to use our new practice management software. When we open at 1, please have patience as we check you and your pets in and out. Dr. Matt especially hates change and we are all aware he will need extra kindness as he fumbles thru learning how to use new technology. Thank you.

We will be closed the morning of May 6, next Tuesday, so that we can be trained on the new software we will be using to run the office - schedule appointments, prepare invoices, etc. We will the doors at 1 pm that day and resume normal hours.
