And another unfortunate instance of absorption with Jewel. Although confirmed pregnant at 35 days via ultrasound, when we x-rayed at 57 days, there were no puppies. She is fine and in perfect health. Will do some hormone checking and try again!
Excited to confirm that Blaze and Jewel are expecting in May!

Unfortunately, as sometimes can happen in breeding, this litter was reabsorbed. Hoping to try again as we were excited to see this combination. Stay tuned!
Excited for puppies later this month!

I neglected to get a picture of Blaze at Tri-cities when he finished his CH but managed this one at Wenatchee!

Tri-cities was good to us! Rio and Jewel both got their 3rd Rally Novice leg and placed 1st and 2nd in their class—the judge was very complimentary about the 2 giants doing so well lol! Blaze finished his CH in style going WD and BOW on Saturday and WD, BOW and BOB on Sunday! Jewel was entered one day and was BOS. Had a great time camping with friends and Storm had a reunion with her brother Apollo!

In August we spent 9 days in Enumclaw for a bunch of shows and camping with friends! Rio and Jewel both got 2 legs of their rally novice. Blaze got a major the one day he was entered and Rio was Reserve Winners Dog at the NCS specialty. Storm (9.5 years) and Sage (10 years) both had fun in veterans and seemed happy to be back in the ring.

I’ve been so bad about posting this summer! Here’s some pix from our trip to Canby in June for the PNNC regional. Sage had fun coming back out as a veteran and Rio was a good boy! Had a great time with friends too!

High Hopes Newfoundlands and Leonbergers are ethical breeders focused on using the considerable power all breeders have to ensure our puppies are healthy and a joy to own.
1. Our puppies are family reared so they will fit in beautifully with your family.
2. They are not in**ed, so are very unlikely to develop genetic illness. In fact, all our puppies come with a Lifetime Money-Back Health Guarantee against serious genetic illness!
3. They are personality tested and matched to your family so it’s a perfect match for you.
As a puppy purchaser you get regular photo or video updates of their progress on our page. We also get their toilet training off to a great start and our puppies are crate conditioned, and well socialized.
Puppies are bathed and dried at least once during their first 9 weeks and typically more often, making this an easy task for the future. Rear dewclaws are removed if present and done just after birth so that the experience is minimal for the puppies.
We support our owners throughout the life of their dog. Most importantly, we provide guidance to get their crucial early puppyhood period right, setting a strong foundation for a well-balanced, happy dog for you throughout its life.
