We are at the Firecracker show at Decatur County Fairgrounds this morning doing the food booth. All proceeds go to our scholarship fund.

DEBrooke Equine Center is looking for volunteers to lead horses and sidewalk with kids during our Therapy riding days. Late afternoon to early evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. We have 18 riders that need extra help due to young age and special needs. This is a very rewarding volunteer experience. Please give of your time and help!

Weekend stall cleaning needed near Rushville Indiana. Must be reliable, and independent worker, and have horse experience. Tasks include cleaning and bedding 10-18 stalls daily. PM if interested in weekend hours.

Looking for a lesson horse to add to our program. We give lessons to all ages and levels but primarily beginners and kids with special needs. So we are searching for a horse with that special soul to connect with these riders. If you have a horse that would enjoy that kind of job to fulfill his or her days then reach out. We would consider a donation of your horse, lease, or buy. Must be sound. Nothing with major maintenance please. We have a great program and facility for your horse.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Equine Center is looking for volunteers on Monday and Thursday late afternoon and early evenings to help with leading horses and sidewalking kids with special needs while they ride.
If you are looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community this may be for you. Or if you know of an FFA member needing volunteer hours or a high school student looking for volunteer hours for college scholarships please have them contact us.
