This month old filly exemplifies everything we hoped for when we opted to stand Bruno aka Im Too Hott - AQHA Stallion at stud. Out of NCHA money earning and producing mare, You Close The Deal, she is already showing the strength, substance, balance and charisma of her sire.

She is proudly owned by Scott Skinkis, who is breeding back two mares to Bruno this breeding season. We were truly honored when he told us this was the nicest foal this mare has had.

Thank you, Scott, for believing in Bruno! We can't wait to see this filly in the showpen someday!

Wow. We are in such a state of gratitude after receiving a warm reception to Bruno (Im Too Hott) at the 6666 Ranch Return to the Remuda Sale and Stallion Showcase. Thank you to those who booked mares to him at his event special pricing -- 25 contracts were sold! We are humbled by this response, that exceeded our dreams.

In addition, we have several people who were unable to attend the event, but who we are honoring the special pricing for during this next week. Thank you to the mare owners who have blessed us by booking to Bruno. He is like a family member to us and we are already eagerly anticipating the resulting foals!

Our time at the 6666s is always an experience to treasure, and this event was a flawless production. From Dr. Canaday, Garrett and Sheila through the ranks, we are always treated exceptionally, and they bring not only a high level of professionalism but also it is evident that they are all just quality human beings.

It was fun meeting some of the other stallion owners, and we gained an exciting new sponsor in Brandon and Rena Ames and AniCell Biotech -- look for more information on that relationship in the very near future.

A special thank you to Clay McKesson for allowing us to stay at his lovely place tucked between the 6666s and the Pitchfork Ranch. Bob got good works on his futurity colts while there and Clay's hospitality was much appreciated.

While our time in Guthrie has come to an end for now, we are headed south to Matt Budge's near Perrin for a few days. We look forward to attending the Western Bloodstock Teton Ridge Dispersal and picking up our new pup from Moura Stock Dogs.

We delivered Im Too Hott, aka Bruno, to the 6666 Ranch this week, where he will be standing for his first year as a breeding stallion. Bob Janssen and I were blown away by the staff and facilities at this historic ranch, and are so grateful for the enthusiasm, hospitality and support Dr. Nathan Canaday and crew have shown us as we embark on this new and exciting journey with our beloved stallion.

Bruno will remain in residence at the Sixes until mid March when we return to Texas for the NCHA Superstakes @ Will Rogers coliseum, at which time we will be picking him up to prepare him for April's NCHA National Circuit Finals where he will be shown in the Open and $25,000 Novice. Until then, fresh cooled or frozen semen will be available. After that he will he frozen only for the remainder of the 2025 breeding season.

Bruno has been such a blessing as a show horse, but he has won our hearts and a large number of grassroots fans because of his quiet demeanor, exceptional trainability since day one, and his own heart and grit.

We would be honored to have you consider Bruno as a potential cross on your mares. He is a strong built, stout athlete that we expect to produce prospects bred and built for success in the cutting, reined cow horse and roping show pens.

We will be breeding him to several of our best mares this year, and waiting anxiously for his first foals to arrive in 2026. He will be subscribed to the NCHA SuperStakes and the NRCHA Stallion Stakes.
