Chickies were waiting outside the feed/tack room for their nightly "bedtime snack" (black soldier fly larvae, scratch grains and black oil sunflower seeds). I LOVE hearing and watching them run and fly over when I call them to give them goodies 🥰

Hens set their new record today: 14 eggs!

2 appear to be molting, 1 has taken some time off this winter and expecting her to begin laying again soon.

They enjoyed free ranging the entire day in the balmy 38° weather 😊

Everyone is doing fantastic despite the unfavorable temperatures.

Chickens have a small heater in the coop, but are choosing to sunbath so far this morning. Extra bugs and scratch for them morning & night.

Horses have hay in front of them 24/7, but also choosing to soak up the winter sun. Theyre enjoying warm mashes at dusk.

Our rodent patroller, Pretty Girl, is also out in the sun! She's getting extra snuggles and food and has a lovely warm kitty hut.
