Big weekend over here! We started clearing out the excess brush and undergrowth from the center of the track. It was very overgrown with willows, buckthorn, ash and poplar.
This will allow us to provide different forage options and track layout.

Any guesses on breed? Im thinking possibly a standard bred, arabian or crossed with any of the prior 😆

Felt like I was making good progress with figuring out how to assemble this building- it is missing its main framing. So I have been testing out different ways of putting it together with lumber framing instead of its original. Feeling good about this latest one, until we got wind Wednesday overnight to Thursday and it had gotten blown apart.
Before playing around with this latest assembly, I had thought I found a local contractor to help, but now I'm not getting a response. So onward and upward!
String Line is up to have a traditional pole-building assembly with the trusses and roof of this building. Determined to get at least half of it up before snow flies.
