Hi all.
The rats and their equipment have been completely sold as of a couple months ago. I sold all of my mice except for 3 bins (himi, agouti and tri/ texel) that I held back for personal use and maybe the occasional sale.
While it was a hard decision I'm really glad I made it. My health has been better as well. I would like to thank all of you who supported me through this fun adventure. If I do ever sell the occasional mouse or will be on my rabbitry page (Firethorne Ridge) or my personal page.
I left this page open for awhile after selling out to make things easier for anyone needing to get a hold of me, but from here on I'll be archiving it. If you need to get a hold of me please message from my rabbitry page listed in the previous paragraph.

This is my "badger face"colony. This pattern randomly popped up and I've been breeding for it since. I think it's adorable. This colony needs to be culled down. There are currently 32. Comes with everything you see and a screen lid.

Pied asf colony. There are 28 individual asf. Comes with the 10 gallon, house, water bottle and screen lid. Keeping together as a colony for now.

Asf colony of solids. There are 44 individuals and most are ready to be culled so you can pick who to stay as breeders. Will come with the 20 gallon, water bottles and screen lid. Will only sell as a colony at this time.

This post is one I legitimately never thought I would be making, but here we are. It's time for me to step away from the rodents completely. This includes all rats, mice and asf.
This is a decision I did not make lightly. In fact it's been a back and forth thing for a year or so now. I love my rodents. I've worked my butt off, given hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars and I'm just plain proud of what they've become. It's because of this that it's taken me so long to finally tell myself it's time. My sensitivities have only gotten worse, my poor husband is crazy allergic and wants to help but just can't. I've got four little kids who deserve more of my time and show rabbits that have honestly just claimed more of my passion.
But I'm saying goodbye to a part of me and only those who have done so truly understand how that feels. This experience has opened a door to more opportunities and friendships than I can count and the most fun critters and people. I'll never be able to step away completely, but for me, for now this is what's best.
My rat count is small and preference will be given to local pick ups. I have agouti, silvermane, marble, roan and a splattering of other varieties. I'll have 2 racks.
In mice I'll have siamese, black, merle, and tri.
In asf I have 3 colonies:
1. Low pied
2. A pattern that appeared and I can't find much info on other places so I've termed it "badger face".
3. Solid (these are hard to come by)
