🐾 Pup Spotlight: Pierogi 🐾
I wanted to take a minute to brag on Pierogi today and recognize how far she has come since she first started coming to me.
When Pierogi first came in, she was very nervous and unsure about the grooming process. The dryer was scary, and having her front legs and feet handled was a definite no. Like a lot of dogs, she just needed some time to learn that grooming could be a safe and positive experience.
We've built a relationship based on trust, patience, and consistency. Now she allows me to fluff dry her and is much more comfortable with having her legs and feet worked on. The difference between the dog that first walked through my door and the dog I see today is pretty amazing.
Pierogi is a great example of why I run my salon the way I do. Being one-on-one gives me the chance to work at each dog's pace and build trust over time. Progress doesn't happen overnight, but when a dog is given patience, consistency, and the opportunity to feel comfortable, incredible things can happen.
I'm so proud of this sweet girl and thankful to her Mama for staying consistent with her grooming schedule and trusting the process. These are the kinds of success stories that make what I do so rewarding.
