We have an opportunity available for week day morning & evening chores at our facility. We are located in Royston, GA.

We offer bartering opportunities only. It has been our experience that workers who have a vested interest in the facility are better suited to this type of work versus a paid employee.

We also offer internships through high school and college agriculture programs.

This position can be bartered for full board or lessons with Ken (bartered board or lessons would require 3 days per week)

OR

Training of your horse (bartered training would require both shifts 4 days per week).

We are seeking a long term team member.

The appropriate candidate would be required to:

*lift 50lbs
*have dependable transportation
*have excellent work ethic
*must be truly concerned about the wellbeing of the horses
*be dependable
*be prompt
*have horse handling knowledge, including stallions, babies & horses of all temperments & levels of training
*be willing & able to work in any weather
*be able to drive farm equipment
*no drugs, drama, or dogs
*provide stall / bucket maintenance for 17 stalls
*feed / water/ hay up to 22 horses
*some cow maintenance could be included if the applicant is interested

This is not a riding position, but riding could be considered once dependability & abilities are proven. Intern riding positions are available.

Currently ISO every other weekend (Fri / Sat / Sun) EVENING shift team member.

Responsibilities would be graining, haying, watering.

Each shift should take less than 1 hour to complete.

Must be punctual.
Must have dependable transportation.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must have knowledge of the ins/ outs of a training horse facility or be trainable.

No drama. No drugs / alcohol. No dogs.

A good candidate would be someone looking to earn lessons (either facility horse or haul in).
