I am a former groom, rider, assistant trainer/manager, and veterinary assistant turned Equine Massage Therapist. I have 12+ years of professional equine experience that I use to help me evaluate each animal individually.

I believe almost all horses can benefit from the effects of massage just as most humans can, whether those benefits are release of muscle tension, pain relief, improved range of motion, or simply mental and emotional relaxation

The life of most domestic horses, competition or pleasure, is very far removed from their natural lives in the wild. While they are incredibly adaptable animals, this change of lifestyle still causes stress and that stress can be exhibited in many different ways. Any day I can help reduce the stress for one of these amazing animals is a good day for me.
