With South Florida’s rainy season comes an increased risk of encounters with the Cane Toad (Bufo Toad, Rhinella marina), which can pose a serious threat to pets. We encourage all pet owners to familiarize themselves with the signs of exposure and the immediate steps to take if contact occurs.
