After 3 weeks of seemingly endless rain and flooding, my fields are shot. I don’t have much land to work with for the amount of horses I have , so they unfortunately have to stay in stalls and gravel paddocks when it’s this wet, to protect the fields from becoming damaged so the horses can go out for a few months in the summer. There was a small break from the rain and I broke my rules for a couple hours so the young ones could move around. They were so stir crazy they were starting to damage the barn 😅 But they sure did have fun for a little while.
