I have been having an absolute blast getting to work with this adorable dude Sparrow! He's here for 30 days of baby boot camp! Thank you Alisha for trusting me with your baby! Can't wait to see him grow into a big beautiful well mannered boy!

Farm updates! GUTTERS! DIY style and they work great! After this last down pour it was evident the sand in the stalls just couldn't keep up so now that the roof drainage is gone it has a much easier time! I LOVE it!

Little overdue but we welcomed Percy and Crystal to the boarding family last week! Sweet kiddos! Percy takes the cake for biggest horse on the farm 😆 happy to have them with us and their awesome loving owners ❤️

Y'all....it's the little things that give me joy. I finally have power and water to my arena and barn which is now almost half full with beautiful horses ❤️ my heart is full. I can now ride whenever I want without hauling out. One day I'll get to the point I can cover it. But for now life doesnt get much better.

We also can't forget to welcome sweet Isla to the barn! She is here for some R&R. Though we only get her for a few short months she is a fun addition to the barn. Did I mention she knows tricks? 😆 I wish all horses had such dedicated owners such as her's when they get laid up for a bit. It's a great time to bond! But these 2 learned to dance together 💃.
She's enjoying meeting all the farm animals on her daily walkabout.

This beautiful girl has already settled in and enjoying her time here with new friends! We are so happy to accommodate her and her doting owner!
Leo has found a new girl friend in Brighton ❤️ they loved their little hang out session.

Super Nova ☄️💫 today at the barrel race!

I absolutely love taking horses out and about to see the good, the bad and the ugly. Today was extremely beneficial for us both. I got to see what upsets her, how easily she recovers/calms down and most of all how she does in a chaotic warm up ring knowing her personal bubble is quite big. I tested her quite a bit by throwing her into an arena of hot jumping jelly bean barrel horses.

And ya know what...she was awesome. Sure she was anxious, a bit worried, a bit pushy and over stimulated. But some ground work, encouragement and praise went a long way with her today.

In the end she was relaxed, loose rein..attentive to me and in a good frame of mind.

Good Job little Nova! We got some smiles seeing this little pony strut around the ring 😆

Help me welcome 2 new faces (and species) to the farm!!
Lyra (Brown roan) and Lady (white and orange)

Both are Huacaya Alpacas from a very dedicated breeder.

Lyra is 3 and will need to be halter broke, and Lady is 13 and an old pro. She showed in her younger years. Both are here for retirement. They will be in a stall until I can get them used to me and halter break Lyra. But will eventually live with the goaties. So excited for these girls!

The other animals on the farm...not so excited 😆 they were all like what the heck are you??
